Enabling and Disabling Rules

If a workflow or business process's rule(s) are disabled, it will not start unless it is invoked from another workflow or started manually from the Workflow Designer. Workflow and business process rules are enabled and disabled in the same way.

To check the status of a rule

  1. In the Rule Manager Pane, select a Closedpublished workflow.
  2. Under ClosedRule Name, select a rule.
  3. Look under the ClosedEnabled column.

To disable a rule

  1. Select a published workflow.
  2. Select a rule.
  3. Click the Disable Rule link. Alternatively, double-click the green check next to an enabled rule to disable it.

To enable a rule

  1. Select a published workflow.
  2. Select a rule.
  3. Click the Enable Rule link. Alternatively, double-click the red X next to a disabled rule to enable it.
